Why you need Suburban sticks in your bag
If you have brushes or rods in your bag, then you need Suburban Sticks.
You paid big money for your cymbals and drums, but unless you live out in the sticks or in a deaf Community your restricted by either when you can play or have to muffle it all so no one complains. You lost the beautiful sound you paid for, you turned the cymbals into pot lids and the drums into body bags just to be able to play.

Why a drummer should try the product
I wanted something different — sticks that let you play properly.
Why These Sticks And Why You Should Try Them
If you’ve played long enough, you already know the problem — volume control is one of the hardest parts of drumming. Whether it’s rehearsals, small venues, teaching, home practice, or noise-sensitive spaces, you’re constantly being asked to “play quieter” — but standard sticks don’t make that easy.
Most low-volume options change the feel too much. They rebound differently, make your kit sound terrible, and force you to change your playing approach. You end up adjusting your technique instead of actually playing.
I wanted something different — sticks that let you play properly.
These sticks are designed to reduce attack and overall volume while keeping the natural feel, rebound, and response of normal drumsticks. You can still play rimshots, cross-sticks, cymbal bells, and ghost notes the way you normally would — just with better control over how loud everything comes out.
They’re not “silent sticks.” That’s not realistic. Drums are meant to be heard. But they are a smarter way to manage volume.
If you’ve ever:
- Been told you’re too loud
- Avoided practicing because of noise
- Struggled with dynamic control in small venues
- Tried specialty sticks and didn’t like the feel
- Wanted full technique at lower volume
— then these are worth trying.
I made these because I needed them myself. If you’re a working drummer, a teacher, or just someone who wants better control without compromise, you’ll understand the difference the moment you play them.
